Our Story

We created Shayela while South Africa was in lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Shayela Consulting sought to address the dramatic unemployment that existed at the time. 

It is one of the few businesses that was able to employ during the global pandemic.

Recognising that the rural and township markets remained vibrant through all economic conditions, Shayela drew on local talent and expertise to provide companies with opportunities within the informal markets of South Africa.

Shayela Consulting provides clients with various business process outsourcing services. 

These include: 

  1. Contact Centre and Customer Care
  2. Virtual Assistant Services 

Operators are found all around South Africa. They are able to communicate in all 11 official South African languages – in some cases operators are also able to target foreigners living in South Africa in their own language.
